Are you hosting your family for Easter dinner and planning to offer little chocolates? So, be original by making small baskets filled with chocolate eggs for each of your guests. You can install them on their plate or next to their glass for example. In addition to making them happy, these little baskets will add a little decorative touch to your table!
Here are the different steps to follow:
1) The material
You will need:
2) Preparation of the base
Start by cutting a 12cm * 12cm square.
Then, on this basis, draw 9 squares measuring 4 × 4 cm each. You will thus have 3 squares on each side.

If you have a folder, run it with a ruler on each path. If you don’t have a folder, use a broken pen or a mikado (something that will press in your paper without cutting it). Thus, your grooves will be made and the folding will be easier.
Then cut as in the image below: do not touch the base of the middle.

Finally, remember to erase the lines previously made with a pencil!
3) Folding
Now let’s move on to folding / gluing. Gather the right square and the left square on the center square. Two solutions are available to you: bring them together indoors or outdoors. Here are the examples in photo:

To help you glue correctly and so that your basket is not twisted, draw in the corner a mini square of 1 × 1 cm on a square, like this:

Then come wedge the corner of the square opposite inside this small marker. Then, glue using double-sided or glue varnish.

Prepare small squares about 3.3 cm wide on another piece of paper, then glue them on each of the initial squares.

4) The handle
To make the handle, cut out a rectangle of about 15 cm x 1.4 cm depending on the thickness and height you desire.

Then stick each end inside the basket.
