Is your bedroom in need of a new lease of life? Whether it’s simply redoing the decor or rearranging the room to optimize space, here are 8 before / after full of good ideas to copy.

Place of relaxation, the room has this character respondent which differentiates it from other rooms in the house. Out of sight, it offers a calm environment, far from the tumult of everyday life, which allows the mind to escape and calm down. It is therefore important not to neglect it and to make it a welcoming and comforting place, conducive to rest and on disconnection. The decoration therefore has a real role to play in the bedroom, and if we are to believe the appetite of the French in recent months for renovation work, there is no longer any question of sleeping in a dull and soulless bedroom. However, fitting out this sometimes small room is not always easy. Yes comfort is obviously essential here, the room must also be functional, thanks to adequate arrangements and storage. Is your bedroom looking gray and in need of a facelift? Whether it’s just refreshing the decor, whether you need to rearrange the room to optimize space or to create a real parental suite, here are eight renovation projects carried out that are full of good ideas. With its yellow upholstery and antique furniture, this room needed updating and updating. From a more practical point of view, the room also lacked storage. It was therefore necessary to rethink the space.

The room has changed its face thanks to an ethnic chic decoration full of style. The walls have been covered with imitation patinated wood slat wallpaper, a headboard in bronze copper tones brings relief and elegance, and a pendant lamp inspired by moucharabiehs polishes the atmosphere. Nestled in the attic, this room had a beautiful space but struggled to appropriate it. Laid out in a summary manner, it was also sorely lacking in personality. However, it had the assets to become a real parental suite: direct access to a large bathroom and space to create a real dressing room.

Redesigned by interior designers, the room has changed face thanks to optimized spaces and a subtly worked decoration. A headboard with integrated niches was made to measure. A spacious dressing room has also been fitted out and the bathroom has been reorganized for more comfort. Find more photos and our full report here.

Beyond its walls, a little yellowed by the years, this room deserved to be redesigned to optimize space. The two large wardrobes surrounding the bed certainly offered a nice storage area but cluttered the room. The whole, a little old-fashioned, therefore needed to be modernized.

Expertly optimized, the room is more functional. A real 3 m2 dressing room has been fitted out at the entrance to the bedroom, thus leaving more room for the bed. The bedroom also displays a more modern style, thanks to more modern furnishings. On the decorative side, a touch of blue has created a soothing atmosphere, ideal in a bedroom. When its new owners acquired it, this house suffered, like the master bedroom, from a poorly arranged interior in an old fashioned style. The room, small and old-fashioned, therefore needed a real makeover.

To create a real parental suite, the room was opened onto the adjoining bedroom. Its occupants thus have more space. A decoration available in shades of blue, sand and gold energizes the room and creates a warm and enveloping atmosphere, like a cocoon. The room has thus gained in character. Mismatched furniture, spartan furnishings and non-existent decor, this room lacked personality and needed to be reinvested.

Sometimes it only takes a few small changes to transform a room. Energized by bright colors and warm materials that make it more welcoming, the room has gained in relief and character. With its flowery tapestry and its old and mismatched furniture, the room was no longer up to date. However, it had a major advantage: a beautiful light that gave an impression of volume. It was therefore necessary to highlight it.

The interior designer has bet on elegance and sobriety. The old wallpaper has disappeared in favor of a pretty water green paint that harmonizes and illuminates the room. Space here needed to be optimized. With its dark and massive furniture, and the many trinkets scattered all over the room, the room seemed cluttered and lacking in space.

Completely reorganized, the room is metamorphosed. Customized storage made it possible to structure the room and make everything that was lying around disappear. Although brightened up here and there by a few hints of color, the room lacked depth and personality. However, it had one great advantage: two large windows opening directly onto the terrace. It was therefore necessary to exploit this advantage.
