The winter school holidays have arrived, and this year you have decided to stay at home. So, of course, you have to find something to occupy the children if you don’t want them to spend all their time in front of the screens! So here are some ideas to keep them entertained:
1) make salt dough
There is nothing more simple. All you need is a little flour, water, and salt to create whatever you want. A pencil holder, a small animal … let your imagination run wild!
2) Make your own board game
Playing a board game is a great time, but playing a board game created by your children’s little hands will only be better! Imagine a “Memory”, a “Morpion” or even a “Domino”. Paper, markers and paint will suffice to create your own game!
3) Create your puppets and your show
If you have some sewing skills, use them to sew little puppets for your children. First ask them to draw their ideal puppet for you and then tell them to develop a show that they will have to present to you that evening.
4) Build your cardboard cabin
Packages have been received over and over again during lockdowns on various occasions such as Christmas or birthdays. So, if you haven’t had time to go to the recycling center to throw away your packaging, give it to your children so that they can make their dream cabin (or one for your pet).
5) invent your paper mache supports
Newsprint, water, flour, and off to a new experience! Have fun making your own papier-mâché items.
